Ratilal B Patel

Ratilal B Patel has been at F 44 on Sion Trombay Road for a long time now. It’s a busy spot in Anantpura. Most mornings start with the sound of traffic outside. People just know us as the local place near the corner. It isn't a fancy office. There are papers stacked on the desks and the fan usually makes a bit of a clicking noise. We handle things as they come in. Ratilal is often around talking to folks who stop by. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we first opened the doors here. You can see the old trees still standing near the main road though. We don’t really do big ads or anything. Most people find us because they live nearby or their cousins told them to come here. Sometimes the rain gets a bit heavy and we have to watch the front step. It’s just how it is in this part of town. We keep the kettle going for tea throughout the afternoon. If you walk past the shop, you might hear the radio playing some old songs. There is no big sign out front, just the address and the name on the door. We stay busy enough with the regulars. It is a simple setup but it works for us. We just try to get the work done and go home to our families in the evening. There isn't much more to say than that really. It is a quiet existence but we are satisfied.
