Rajpadhiyar Ishwar Udesinh

I've been here on Padra Main Road for a while now. Rajpadhiyar Ishwar Udesinh is just the name on the door, really. Most people around here know where we are because of the traffic on the main road. It gets very busy in the mornings. You see the same faces walking by to work or catching the bus. I usually get in early to beat the heat because it can get quite stuffy in here by noon. The building isn't much to look at, but it does the job for what we need. We don't spend a lot of time worrying about how things look from the outside. It’s more about just being here day after day and doing the work. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside if the door stays open too long during the dry season. You just sweep it out and keep going without complaining too much. I grew up not too far from here, so I know the neighborhood pretty well. It’s changed some over the years, with more shops popping up now than there used to be. But the road is still the same old Padra Main Road. People stop in just to say hello or ask for directions to the market sometimes. It’s a bit noisy with the cars and the bikes honking, but you get used to it after a week or two. There isn't any big story behind why we started here, it was just a good spot that was available at the right time. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things simple. No fancy signs or big lights. Just the name Rajpadhiyar Ishwar Udesinh and the daily tasks. It’s enough for us to keep going.
