We are over at Shop No 5 in the Chaturbhai Complex. This is on the Warasiya Ring Road in Vadodara. If you are driving by, look for the Essar Petrol Pump in Varasia; we are very close to that. The address is 390022. Raghuvir Medical & Provision Stores has been around this part of town for a bit. The Ring Road is always busy with cars and trucks, so there is always some noise outside our window. We sell medicines and general daily items. It’s a handy stop for people who are getting petrol nearby or just passing through. The shop isn't very big, but we make use of every inch of space we have. We keep the provision items on one side and the medical stuff on the other. It helps keep things organized so we don't get confused when things get hectic. I usually handle the prescriptions while my assistant helps people find their groceries. We don't have any fancy marketing or big ads in the paper. We just put a sign out front and that is about it. Most of our business comes from people who live in the apartments around the Chaturbhai Complex. It is a practical business. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Vadodara or anything like that. We just want to be a reliable place for the Varasia neighborhood. It gets a bit dusty because of the road, so we spend time cleaning the glass cases every day. That is just part of the job.
