Puja M Mehta

I work out of a small spot on R V Desai Road. It’s a busy street, and there’s always something going on outside the window. Being here as Puja M Mehta, the day is usually filled with paperwork and phone calls. The office is pretty simple, just the basics like a desk, some chairs, and a lot of files that seem to pile up no matter how much I organize them. R V Desai Road has a lot of different shops and offices, so I’m just one of many people trying to get through the workday. I usually get in early before the traffic really picks up. The building isn't brand new, but it serves the purpose. I don't really have a big staff or anything like that, so it’s often just me handling the daily tasks. People stop by occasionally, or I’m out running errands related to the work. It’s a very local way of doing things. I’ve lived and worked around here long enough to know the rhythms of the street. There’s no big mission statement on the wall or fancy branding. It’s just a place where work gets done. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the power cuts out for a minute, but we just get on with it. It is an honest living, and being on this road makes it easy to stay connected to everything else in the city without needing a fancy corporate office to feel official.
