Parekh Solids Handling

We have been operating out of the GIDC Estate in Por for quite a few years now. Our spot is at 158, right off Kashipura Road. If you know the area, it is near 329, which is a big landmark for folks around here. The road gets a bit dusty in the summer months, but that is just how it is in an industrial zone like Ramangamdi. Our team mostly spends the day dealing with the machinery and managing the storage. It’s not a fancy office with carpets or anything like that. We have concrete floors and metal roofs because that is what works for solids handling. Most mornings start with a cup of tea and a quick look at the schedule. We handle a lot of heavy stuff, so there is usually a crane or a forklift moving around somewhere in the back. Sometimes the trucks get stuck on the narrow road leading in, especially when the monsoon rains hit Vadodara and turn the edges of the path into mud. We just make do and keep the work moving. People from the nearby units stop by to chat sometimes. It is a working environment through and through. Nothing is polished, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy getting orders out to worry about that. We just show up, do the heavy lifting, and go home when the sun sets over the estate.
