If you find yourself in Dandia Bazar, look for number 105 and that is where Patel Rakesh Devidas is located. It’s a busy little part of town, and we have been here for a good amount of time now. The street is always full of noise and people moving back and forth, which we have gotten used to over the years. Our setup is pretty basic, just a place to get work done and talk to whoever comes through the door. We don't spend much on decorations or making things look slick because that’s not really who we are. We prefer just getting right to the task at hand. Some days are longer than others, especially when there’s a lot of back and forth with suppliers or just people asking questions. We handle a bit of everything here, and it keeps the days from getting boring. It’s a family-style environment, really, where we all know each other’s business and we don’t have to put on any acts. You might see some clutter here and there, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical way to live and work in Dandia Bazar. We just keep our heads down and try to stay on top of the daily grind. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours and we are fine with how things have turned out at 105. We stay open late sometimes when there is more to do than hours in the day.
