You can find Patel Latishkumar Chhita over at Dabhoi X Roads, specifically at number 92. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of noise from the vehicles passing by. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now. The building is number 92 and it’s seen better days, but it’s sturdy and it keeps the rain off our heads. Latishkumar is usually the one you’ll see if you drop by unannounced. We don’t have a secretary or a waiting room with magazines. You just walk in and we talk about whatever needs doing. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. Some days are slow and we just sit around chatting, and other days we can barely keep up with the people coming through the door. We aren’t interested in looking like a big corporation. We’re just a small outfit trying to provide a decent living for the people who work here. The Dabhoi Cross Roads area has changed a lot since we first arrived, with new shops opening up and old ones closing down, but we’ve stayed right here. It’s a convenient location even if the parking is a bit of a struggle sometimes. We just focus on the task at hand and try to be fair with everyone. The tea stall across the way makes a good cup, which helps us get through the long afternoons when the sun is hitting the front of the shop and things start to feel a bit slow.
