Parul Desai

I’ve been based on Gotri Road for quite some time now. My place is at number 40. It’s a pretty decent area, and I’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street. Parul Desai is just the name on the door, really. I started working from here because it’s convenient and I know the neighborhood well. It isn't a massive office building with a lobby or a receptionist. It’s more of a personal space where I can get my work done without too many distractions. People often drop by because they live nearby or they’ve heard I’m here. I don’t have any big marketing plans or goals to expand into a huge corporation. I just like doing what I do and being able to walk home or to the local shops. The office has everything I need, a good desk, some filing cabinets, and a window that looks out onto the road. It gets a bit dusty because of the traffic, but that’s life in the city. I keep my hours fairly regular, though sometimes I stay late if there’s a lot to finish. It’s a straightforward setup. I don’t believe in making things more complicated than they need to be. If you’re looking for me, I’m usually here during the day. It’s just me doing my bit at Gotri Road 40. I keep some plants on the sill to make it feel a bit nicer.
