Parmar Rameshchandra Dahya

If you are driving down Savli Main Road, you will probably see our place. It is Parmar Rameshchandra Dahya. We have been sitting on this stretch of road for years. It is a busy spot with trucks and buses constantly rumbling past the front door. The dust gets everywhere, so I am always wiping down the counters. It is just a regular shop. We don't have any flashy lights or big advertisements. The name is painted on a wooden board above the door. Inside, it is a bit dark because we don't have many windows. I like it that way because it stays a little cooler. I grew up in this area and decided to stay here for work. Most of the people who come in are locals I have known since I was a kid. We talk about the weather or the price of grain while we deal with business. I don't use any fancy systems to keep track of things. Just a big ledger book and a pen. It has worked for my father and it works for me too. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat and have a cup of tea. We don't rush anyone out. Life on Savli Main Road moves fast outside, but inside here, we take our time. It is a simple business for simple people. We don't expect much and we give what we can to make things work well.
