Parmar Parshottam Ishwar

Working out of A 17 in Vadodara has been my life for a good while. Parmar Parshottam Ishwar is the name I use for all the official business. It is a modest place. You won't find any marble floors or air conditioning here. Just a ceiling fan that squeaks a bit when it’s on high. I spend most of my time at the workbench. My hands are usually stained with ink or grease depending on the day's tasks. It is a quiet existence. I don't go looking for trouble or big fame. I just want to do my work and go home to my family. The street outside A 17 is narrow, so parking is always a bit of a mess. I tell people to leave their bikes at the corner. I have a small radio that plays old songs while I work. It helps pass the time when there aren't many customers around. I don't have a website or any of that stuff. If people want to find me, they just ask around the market. Everyone knows Parshottam. I have been here through the floods and the heatwaves. The building has some damp patches on the ceiling, but it doesn't bother me much. I just put a bucket under the drips when it rains. It is an honest way to spend the day. I plan to stay right here until I am too old to hold the tools anymore.
