Panchal Eye Hospital

Our eye hospital is located in Shiyapura, tucked behind Raopura School Number 1. It is a bit of a maze back here in the Raopura area of Vadodara, but once you find the school, we are right there. We have been looking at eyes for a lot of years. The building is an older one, so the rooms are a bit small and the hallways are narrow. We have the usual charts on the wall with the letters getting smaller at the bottom. The equipment we use is solid, even if it is not the newest model on the market. People come in when their vision gets blurry or they need new glasses. We spend a lot of time cleaning lenses and checking frames. It gets busy in the mornings when the sun is bright through the front windows. The staff knows how to handle the different machines, and we try to explain things simply to anyone who is worried about their sight. We do not have a big marketing department or anything like that. It is just a place where we work every day. Sometimes the noise from the school kids playing outside comes through the walls, which makes the place feel more alive. We keep a lot of glass cases for the spectacles, and they need constant dusting. It is a straightforward operation. We just want to help people see a bit clearer before they walk back out into Shiyapura.
