Optikon Vision Care Centre

Optikon Vision Care Centre is located right near the Siyapura Police Gate on Ajwa Road. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you are heading down that way. We’ve been here for a bit now, just helping out people who come by with their eye needs. The shop isn’t overly big but we have enough room for the equipment and the glasses we keep on the shelves. Being close to the police gate means there is always something going on outside. We see a lot of people walking past every day. Sometimes they just stop in to ask for directions or to see what we do. We try to keep things simple and not make a big fuss about anything. It’s a local business and we know a lot of the faces that pass by the window. The traffic on Ajwa Road can get a bit loud during the afternoons, but inside it stays fairly quiet for the most part. We spend our time fixing frames or helping someone pick out a new pair. It’s steady work and we enjoy being part of this neighborhood. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just hear about us from their friends or family. That’s how we like it. Just a small place on a busy road doing what we know how to do. Sometimes the dust from the road gets on the glass cases and we have to wipe them down three or four times a day just to keep things looking decent for the visitors.
