Orchestra Baroda Beats

We are based in Vadodara, right in the middle of Kalisian Wali Gali. It’s a narrow street that stays quite busy with people going about their shopping. Our place is where we keep all the instruments and equipment. You can usually find a couple of drum kits, some keyboards, and various speakers taking up most of the floor space. It isn't a very large room, so we have to be careful not to trip over cables when we are moving around. Sometimes we practice here, and the sound carries right out into the street. The neighbors don't seem to mind too much; they are used to the noise by now. The walls have a few old posters of past shows we’ve done. It’s a bit of a cluttered space, but it has a good feel to it. We spend a lot of time cleaning the gear and making sure everything is ready for the next event. The air can get a bit stuffy, so we usually leave the door open to let some air in from the gali. People often peak their heads in to see what we are doing. We are just a group of people who love playing music and have found a spot in Vadodara to call our own. There is no corporate structure here, just a bunch of us trying to keep the rhythm going in this little corner of the city. We hope to keep the music playing for a long time to come for everyone.
