Orbit Eye Hospital

Orbit Eye Hospital is located in the Haribhakti Complex. This building has been a part of the local scenery for a long time, and we occupy a section of it for our eye care work. It’s not one of those new glass-and-steel towers; it’s a more traditional complex with concrete stairs and corridors that have seen a lot of foot traffic over the years. We have our clinic set up with the basic equipment for checking vision and looking at eyes. The waiting area has some rows of chairs and we usually have a small television playing the news or something to keep people occupied. Since we specialize in eyes, the lighting inside is quite important, so we’ve spent some time getting the lamps and overheads just right. Working in Haribhakti Complex means we see all sorts of people every day, from young students to older residents who have lived in this area their whole lives. The breeze through the windows is nice in the evenings when the sun starts to go down. We don’t have a big staff, just a handful of us who know how to handle the machines and talk to the patients. Every morning starts with a quick cleaning and checking the schedule for the day. It’s a quiet, steady kind of workplace where we just focus on the eyes of the people who walk in. No big fuss or complicated systems, just plain work.
