Om Immigration

Our office is located in the Dandia Bazar area, specifically over in Satellite. It’s a busy place, and we usually have a lot of people coming in and out all day long. Dealing with immigration stuff means we are constantly buried under piles of forms and passport copies. It can be pretty draining to deal with all the rules and changes that happen every other week. We spend a lot of time on the phone or staring at computer screens trying to get the details right for someone’s application. There’s always someone who is nervous about their visa, and we end up listening to a lot of life stories. The office isn't very big, and when we have three or four families waiting, it gets quite loud and warm in here. We drink a lot of tea just to keep going through the afternoon slump. It’s not the kind of job where you see results right away; everything takes time and a lot of waiting on other people. We just keep filing the papers and checking the boxes. Dandia Bazar is a good location because it’s easy for people to find us, but parking is a nightmare sometimes. We’re just a regular group of people trying to help others figure out the paperwork for moving abroad. It’s just us doing the daily grind with a lot of staplers and pens.
