Ochhavlal C. Shah & Co.

Our office is located in the Annapurna Complex on Makarpura Road. We’ve been known as Ochhavlal C. Shah & Co. for a long time. It’s a ground floor spot, which makes it easier for people to drop by without climbing stairs. Makarpura is a busy area, especially with the Bhavans school nearby. We do a lot of professional work, mainly paperwork and accounts for the folks around here. The office is pretty simple. We have wooden desks and old filing cabinets that have been with us since the start. It’s not a modern glass building, but it works for us. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. It’s that kind of place. We start the morning with some tea and go through the mail. There’s always a lot of reading and checking figures to be done. We don't use much fancy software if we can help it, we like the old ways of doing things. It’s reliable. The traffic on Makarpura Road can get loud during school hours, but we just shut the door and get on with the day’s tasks. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our corner of the complex stays pretty much the same. People know they can find us here from Monday to Saturday. We just keep our heads down and get the filings done as they come in. It is quiet, steady work that has kept us going.
