Narendrakumar B Joshi

Over in Subhanpura there is a place called Khijda Pole and that is where we are at A 42. The name of the place is Narendrakumar B Joshi. If you have never been to the pole before you might get a little lost in the narrow lanes but once you find A 42 you will see us right there. It is a traditional kind of neighborhood where everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We work out of a ground floor room that used to be part of a house. It is cozy but it gets the job done. We have got some old wooden shelves filled with books and ledgers that have been around since the business started. There is a small courtyard in the back where we sit when we need a bit of air. The walls are thick so it stays relatively quiet even when the kids are playing cricket in the lane outside. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to do our daily work and go home to our families. Some days are busier than others and the phone might ring off the hook but we just take it one call at a time. It is a practical life here in Subhanpura and we wouldn't have it any other way. It is just a real business run by real people who have lived in this area for a long time. The chai guy comes by at eleven every morning.
