Our office is at 301 A Tower in Kunj Plaza. It’s right on Palace Road, directly across from Laxmi Vilas. It is a very well-known part of Vadodara, and we like being right here in the middle of history. Mukesh Purani & Associates has been around for quite a while. We aren't a new firm trying to make a name with flashy stunts. We just do the work. We handle various types of architectural projects, from older renovations to new builds. Being near the palace gives you a bit of appreciation for how things used to be built. We try to bring a bit of that solidness to what we do today. The office is usually full of files and old project records. We don't throw much away because you never know when you might need to look back at an old drawing. Our team is small and we all know what each other is doing. There is no hierarchy here where you can't talk to the boss. Most of our day is spent balancing what a client wants with what the local regulations allow. It’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes. We don't promise things we can't deliver. If a plan is too expensive or won't work with the land, we say so. We’ve built our reputation on being straight with people. It is a busy life, but we wouldn't want to be doing anything else right now.
