Mr Shiv Khara

Shiv Khara is the name. My place of business is Block No 8 in the Rajnagar Society, located in Maneja, Baroda. It’s a typical society setup where everyone knows everyone else’s business. I use this block as my primary office. It’s nothing spectacular, just a solid building with four walls and a roof that keeps the rain out. I’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day and a desk that’s seen better years. Baroda is a nice place to work, not as frantic as the bigger cities but still plenty to do. I handle most of the tasks myself. People in the society often drop by just to say hello, so I have to keep a few extra chairs around. It’s an honest way to make a living. I don’t believe in those polished corporate offices with the glass and the chrome. This feels more real to me. I keep my records in metal cabinets and try to stay organized, though some days the papers seem to pile up faster than I can file them. If you’re looking for a big company feel, you won’t find it here. It’s just a local operation run by someone who cares about getting the details right without making a big fuss about it. I’ve lived in this city for a long time and I don't see myself working anywhere else. It’s simple and it works for me.
