Mi Overseas Ltd India Mi Swaco is situated at B 18 Ratnadeep Society, right near the Ankur Society on Waghodia Road in Vadodara. This is a pretty residential area, but we have our operations set up here because it’s a good location for us to reach the industrial parts of Gujarat. The office is basically a house that we’ve converted, so it has a very casual and lived-in feel to it. We deal with a lot of overseas coordination and technical supplies for the oil and gas sector. It’s a lot of technical jargon and long emails to people in different time zones. Often, we are up late or in very early to catch someone on the other side of the world. The office can get a bit cluttered with samples and shipping containers, but we manage to keep a path clear. We don't really have a sign out front, so you have to know which gate to look for in the society. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed even when we are busy. We deal with the heat of Vadodara by keeping the AC running and staying focused on the logistics. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the right parts get to the right rigs on time. We just take things as they come and try to keep everything organized.
