Menghani Lata Harchand

If you’re driving down Waghodia Road, you’ll eventually hit the Jodhapur Char Rasta. Right there at number 70 is where Menghani Lata Harchand is. It’s a busy intersection with a lot of noise from the traffic and the shops nearby. The spot is easy to miss if you aren’t looking for the number 70 specifically. It’s a simple space, nothing fancy about the interior at all. We have the usual stuff, some tables and a few files. The floor is that old tile that stays cool even when it’s hot outside. Waghodia Road is always full of people moving around, so there’s a lot of energy right outside the door. Sometimes the tea seller from across the street brings over a few cups. We just sit here and do what needs to be done. It’s not one of those big offices with a receptionist. You just walk in. The name Menghani Lata Harchand is written on the door so people know they’ve got the right place at Jodhapur Char Rasta. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but number 70 stays pretty much the same. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff coming in, but we make it work. Most days are just steady. We close up when the sun goes down and the traffic at the Char Rasta starts to thin out in the evening.
