Marwarhi Agro Trading Private Limited has its office at 6, Avni Chambers. This is right near the Express Hotel in the Alkapuri area of Vadodara. Alkapuri is a pretty busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by outside. Our office is a quiet spot compared to the streets. We handle trading, which means a lot of time spent on the phone and looking at price lists. We aren't a big company with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of us sitting at our desks. The office has some old filing cabinets and a few computers that have seen better days, but they work. We don't bother with expensive decorations because they don't help us trade any better. Most of our clients are people we’ve known for years. We talk about the markets and the weather and how the crops are looking this season. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the shop downstairs when we have visitors or just need a break. It’s a very normal way to run a business. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the trades go through and everyone gets what they agreed on. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening. If you’re near the hotel, you can find our building easily enough. We keep the windows shut to block out the noise.
