My name is Maruti Birje and I’ve got this place over at Plot Number 296 in the GIDC Estate in Makarpura. If you know this area, you know it’s mostly factories and workshops everywhere you look. It can get pretty dusty and loud during the peak hours, but that is just how an industrial estate works. I started this because I knew how to handle the work, and the location in Makarpura seemed right for what I was doing. We spend a lot of time on the floor, making sure everything is moving like it should. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s a practical space where we get our hands dirty and finish the jobs that come in. Most of the people around here are doing the same thing, just trying to keep their businesses running smooth. I try to stay organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up on my desk when we are busy with a big order. The guys who work with me have been around for a while, and we all know the routine by now. We don't spend much time talking about goals or anything, we just focus on the task right in front of us for the day. It gets hot in the summer inside the unit, but we have some fans going. That’s pretty much the whole story of this place. Just a regular workshop in GIDC.
