Our office is located at A 31 Sanskruti Tenaments, which is right near Motinagar 3 in the Tarsali area of Vadodara. It is actually a residential spot where we have set up our work space to be closer to home. We spend most of our days looking through piles of resumes and talking to people who are looking for jobs in the local factories or the many offices around Vadodara. Manokam started because we knew a lot of people who were really struggling to find the right kind of work and businesses that could not find reliable staff. We are not a big corporate agency with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us working here every day. We keep track of who is hiring and who needs a job on our computers and in a few big physical folders we keep on the shelf. The neighborhood stays relatively quiet, which is nice when we have to conduct interviews with new candidates. Sometimes we have to explain to people that the hiring process takes time and we cannot always find a perfect match immediately. We try to be very realistic with everyone who walks through our door. It is a lot of phone calls and emails going back and forth throughout the week. Tarsali is a good place for us to be because it is quite close to the major industrial zones. We have been at this for a while and have learned what companies need.
