Radhe Krishna Furniture

Radhe Krishna Furniture is over at Shop No. 15 in Swami Residency, which is located in Makarpura. We are right behind the Makarpura Air Force Station, which is mentioned twice in our address because that’s really the best way to find the building. We hear the planes and helicopters pretty often throughout the day. The shop is usually full of the smell of sawdust and wood polish. We make all kinds of things like beds, cupboards, and tables. It’s just a small shop, so we often have to move finished pieces out onto the walkway just to have room to work on the next thing. We aren't designers with big catalogs; we just build solid furniture that lasts. Most of the time, it’s just us with our tools, cutting and sanding away. The area around Swami Residency is mostly residential, so we get a lot of local families coming in looking for something for their homes. We don't have a big team, just a few local guys who are good with their hands. Sometimes the work gets delayed if the wood doesn't arrive on time, but we try to stay on top of things. It’s dusty and noisy work, but there is something nice about seeing a finished chair or table ready to go. We’ve been here in Makarpura for a while and don't plan on going anywhere else. Just stop by if you see the shop open.
