P. D. Traders

P. D. Traders is tucked away at Plot No. 299-b-g2 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It's more of a warehouse and office combo than a factory. We deal with trading various items, so there's always a lot of paperwork and phone calls. The office is small and the air conditioning is a bit loud, but it keeps us cool while we work. We have shelves full of ledgers and samples of what we sell. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we have a system that works for us. If you ask for something, we can usually find it in a few minutes. We don't have any fancy brochures or sales pitches. We just tell people what we have and what the price is. Most of our days are spent checking inventory and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly. The Gidc estate is a good location for us because the roads are wide enough for the deliveries. We’ve been at this unit for some time now. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea and talking, but other days it’s non-stop from 8 am. We don't use big words or try to sound important. We're just traders doing our bit. It's a small team, maybe just three or four of us on a regular day. We like the independence of running our own small shop here and seeing the same faces.
