Mahavir Machine Tools

Mahavir Machine Tools is located at Plot No. 746-9-b in the Gidc Ind. Estate. If you walk inside, you’ll smell oil and hear the hum of the grinders. We’ve been working on these tools for quite some time now. It’s a lot of precision work, but we don't make a big deal out of it. We just sit at the benches and make sure the edges are sharp and the dimensions are where they should be. Sometimes the light in the back of the shop is a bit dim, so we move the work closer to the door. We have a few guys who have been here since the start. We talk about the old days when the estate wasn't so crowded. Now there’s a lot of traffic, but we stay inside and do our thing. We sell various tools to other shops around here. If something breaks, we usually know how to fix it or we find someone who does. It’s not a high-tech lab, just a practical workshop where we get things done. We don't bother with fancy uniforms; we just wear what’s comfortable for getting dirty. Every Friday we try to clean up the metal shavings, but by Monday they are back again. That’s the cycle of work here. We aren't fancy, just hard workers trying to provide tools that actually work for our customers and neighbors in the area.
