Heer Holidays

Our office is over at Plot No. 243 in the Gidc Estate. It might seem a bit unusual to have a travel and holiday business right in the middle of an industrial estate, but it works for us. We spend most of our time on the phones or on the computer, looking for flights and hotels for people who want to go on a trip. It gets quite busy, especially around the times when everyone wants to go on vacation. We have brochures all over the place and a few desks where we talk to customers who drop by. It’s not a very big space, but it’s comfortable enough. We aren't a giant travel agency with hundreds of people. It’s just a small group of us who know how the booking systems work and which places are good to visit. We hear a lot of stories from people about where they want to go and what they want to see. Sometimes the internet goes down or the booking sites act up, which can be frustrating, but we usually figure it out. We don’t have any fancy speeches about travel. We just help folks get their tickets and their rooms sorted so they can have a break. People in the estate often stop in to ask about a quick trip for their families. We like being part of the local scene here at Plot 243 and helping people out with their travel plans.
