Grace Vision

Grace Vision is tucked away at Plot No. 405-a in the GIDC Industrial Estate. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but we like it that way because it is a little quieter. Inside, the lights are usually kept bright because we need to see what we are doing with the small parts and the fine details of the assembly. It is not a huge facility, just enough room for the workstations and a couple of desks for the admin stuff. Most of us have been working here together for a long time, so we don’t need to say much to get the job done. We know the routine. Lunchtime is usually spent sitting on the benches outside if the weather is okay. We talk about the cricket scores or whatever is on the news. Sometimes the supply of materials gets delayed, and we have to shuffle the schedule around, which is always a bit of a scramble. We don’t have a big fancy lobby with a receptionist. You just walk in and someone will probably look up from their bench to see what you need. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we have been too busy to get around to it. It is a practical place for people who just want to get their work finished and go home to their families. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
