We are over at Plot No. 299, 6-b in the GIDC Industrial Estate. It’s a modest setup at Balaji Tools, but it serves us well. The shop is filled with various lathes and milling machines that have been working hard for years. You’ll find us mostly covered in a bit of dust and grease by the time noon rolls around. We don't have a fancy showroom. Everything we do is right there on the floor. The walls are lined with racks for different types of steel and materials. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when we have several projects going at once, but we make it work. We have a small radio that plays local stations in the background, though you can barely hear it over the noise of the tools. The floor is stained from years of oil, and the windows are a bit grimy, but the work we do is solid. We don’t go in for big promises or corporate talk. We just listen to what’s needed and try to get it done by the deadline. Sometimes we stay late when a job is urgent, and other times we finish early if the power is acting up. It’s a typical small business life. We appreciate the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s just us, our tools, and the daily tasks here at Plot No. 299.
