We are based out of Maneja. Alstom India Ltd. has a presence here that most local people know about. It’s not a tiny shop, but the people working here are just like anyone else in the area. Maneja is a place where industry is a big part of life. We spend our days dealing with the technical stuff and making sure everything is on track. The site is large, and it takes a while to get from one end to the other. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of grease, heavy parts, and long hours involved. We don't use big fancy words to explain ourselves. We just show up, do the work, and hope the machines don't give us too much trouble. Some of the guys have been working here at Maneja for years, so they know every corner of the place. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but we just keep going. We don't have a lot of time for meetings that don't lead to anything. We'd rather be out where the actual production is happening. It’s a straightforward environment without any of that corporate fluff you see in the movies. We just want to get the job done right and go home. That’s the way it’s always been for us here. We aren't trying to be something we're not. We are just Alstom in Maneja, doing what we do every day.
