Laxmi Industries

Our shop, Laxmi Industries, is located over at 880 5 in the Makarpura GIDC Estate. It is pretty loud around here most of the time with all the machinery running and trucks moving in and out of the industrial area. We have been working out of this space for a long while now. It’s mostly dust, grease, and the sound of metal, but we like the work. The floor isn't always the cleanest, and the sun hits the roof hard in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside. We spend most of our hours making sure the machines are running right and the orders get loaded onto the trucks without too much delay. There are quite a few of us working here, some have been with the company since the start. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist to greet you, usually you just find one of us on the floor with a wrench or a clipboard. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time. Things can get hectic when a big order comes in, but we manage to get through it. Being in Makarpura GIDC means we are surrounded by other businesses doing similar stuff, so there is always something going on nearby. It isn't a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We just focus on getting the parts made and making sure the quality is decent enough for what's needed for the folks who buy from us.
