KYB-Conmat Private Limited is at 845, Gidc Makarpura Industrial Estate in Nakarpura. If you know the GIDC area, you know it is all business and heavy industry. Our place is right in the middle of all that. We deal with some pretty big equipment, so there is always a lot of clanging and heavy lifting going on. The yard is usually full of metal and parts waiting to be moved. We don’t have a shiny office with glass elevators. It is a real industrial site where things get built and tested. The dust from the road and the estate usually finds its way inside, but nobody really minds. We have been at this address for quite a few years now. The guys on the shop floor have a lot of experience and they don't need a lot of instructions to know what to do. We keep things simple and avoid all that corporate talk that doesn't mean much in a factory. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, and we just order some food and keep going. It’s a tough environment but it’s what we are used to. We value the fact that we can just walk out to the floor and see what’s happening. No mission statements on the walls, just a calendar and some old photos of the team.
