Krishna Laboratory

Krishna Laboratory is over in the Padmini Complex near the Swaminarayan Gurkul. The address is Asoj Udhna Teen Rasta on the Udhna Main Road in Surat 9. It is a very busy intersection with cars and buses. You can always hear the traffic from the Teen Rasta through the walls. The lab is on the ground floor which makes it easy to enter. We have some white tables and a few machines for doing the tests. It smells a bit like chemicals and cleaning fluid in here most of the time. I try to keep it as tidy as possible for the visitors. The Padmini Complex is an older building and the walls are a bit thick. I spend a lot of time looking through the microscope or writing down numbers on clipboards. We have a small waiting area with three chairs and some old magazines on a table. Most people come in early in the morning before work. I have to be here by 7 am to get everything ready for the day. The light in the back room is a bit bright but it has to be for the work we do. Near the Swaminarayan Gurkul you get a lot of people walking by in the evenings. I usually take a short break in the afternoon when the sun is highest. I go across the street for a quick snack. The glass door has a bit of a crack in the corner. (256 words)
