We’re up on the 4th floor of Indraprasth Avenue, which is right on VIP Road in Karelibaugh. If you know where the Om International building is, we’re just above that. And of course, everyone knows Raju Omlet right downstairs, so the smell of food usually drifts up here around lunchtime. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is being slow, but we don’t mind it. Our office overlooks the street, so we can see the traffic on VIP Road when we look out the window. Opposite us is the Wageshwari Society. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a few rows of desks and a small area where we keep the water bottles and the tea maker. It’s not a polished corporate environment with glass walls. It feels more like a lived-in space where work actually happens. There are usually coats hanging on the back of chairs and piles of paper that need filing. We spend a lot of time on our computers or talking to each other across the room. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere, even when we’re stressed about a deadline. Karelibaugh is a good area to be in because everything is close by. We’ve been in this building for a while now and we’re used to the creaks and the sounds of the other offices. It’s just our daily spot.
