Kamat Kidney & Eye Hospital

Our place is located in Vinayak Society, right there in Akota. If you are coming from the Government Press Kothi side, we are directly opposite to it. It is a pretty well-known spot in the Akota area. The society itself is usually quiet, which is nice because it keeps the noise from the main road away from the rooms. We focus on kidney and eye stuff here, so the rooms are set up specifically for those needs. It’s not a massive hospital like the ones you see in the movies. It is more of a local facility where we know many of the patients by their first names. The building at 15 Vinayak Society has been here for a good amount of time. You might notice the paint is a bit old in some corners, but we prioritize keeping everything clean inside. The reception area is small, with a few fans humming away to keep the air moving during those hot afternoons. We have some plants near the entrance that one of the nurses waters every morning. It feels more like a house that was converted into a medical space, which some people seem to prefer over those big, cold buildings. Usually, people just walk in after seeing the board from the road. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; we just handle the appointments and make sure the files are organized in the wooden cabinets behind the desk. It’s a steady rhythm every day.
