Up on the second floor at 210 Sayajigunj, you’ll find our office. K K Shah Co has been in this building for a long while now. It’s an old spot, but it works for us. Getting up the stairs every day keeps us moving, I guess. We’ve got a small team here, just doing the daily grind. Sayajigunj is a busy part of town, always something happening outside the window with the street vendors and the cars. We mostly keep our heads down and focus on the ledger books and whatever else needs doing for the day. It’s not the most glamorous office you’ve ever seen. The desks are a bit mismatched and there’s always a stack of papers somewhere that needs filing. That’s just the way it is when you’re a local outfit. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive chairs because it doesn't help us work better. We'd rather just do the job and get it right for the people who rely on us. Most people who come to see us have been coming for years. We know their families and they know ours. It makes the workday go by a bit faster when you’re working with people you actually know. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we just wait it out and talk. That’s life here. We don’t make a big fuss about things. If you need us, you know the address.
