You can find us over on Stadium Road at number 202 in Alkapuri. K Construction Pvt Ltd has its office right there. It’s a good spot because it’s close to where a lot of things are happening in the city. The office isn't very large, but it’s where we do all our planning and meetings. We have a big table in the center where we spread out the blueprints. Most of the time it’s covered in coffee cups and pencils. There are posters of different projects on the walls, mostly just to remind us of what we’ve finished recently. We spend a lot of time on our feet, going back and forth between the office and the various sites we are working on. Alkapuri is a busy place, and there is always the sound of construction or traffic nearby. We have a few computers for the technical stuff, but a lot of our work is still done with a measuring tape and a notebook. We aren't the kind of people who wear suits to work; usually, it’s just boots and jeans because we never know when we’ll have to step into a trench or climb a ladder. We’ve been running this business for a while now and we’ve learned that the best way to get things done is just to be direct and stay focused on the task at hand. It’s a loud, busy, and satisfying way to make a living.
