Jasmin Dave

I’ve been working out of my place on Harni Road for quite some time now. It’s over at North Avenue, E 17 622, if you’re looking for the exact spot. It’s a quiet enough area most days, which helps when I have to sit down and actually get stuff done. I don’t really have a big staff or anything, it’s mostly just me, Jasmin Dave, handling the daily bits and pieces. My desk is usually a mess of papers and notes I’ve written to myself. People ask what I do, and I just tell them I handle what comes my way. It’s hard to put it into words sometimes. I spend a lot of time on my computer and taking calls from people I’ve known for years. The neighborhood has changed a lot since I first started, but the building still feels the same. I usually start quite early before the sun gets too hot. By afternoon, I’m usually deep into whatever project is on the table. It’s not fancy work, but it’s mine. I don’t like the way some businesses talk about themselves like they are changing the world. I’m just here doing my job and trying to keep things straight. If someone calls, I answer. If there’s work to be done, I do it. That’s pretty much how it goes every day at this address. I just take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of the pile.
