Jahangir G Shaikh operates from F 125 in the Kamdhenu Estate on Solapur Road. This part of Sayajigunj is always moving, and being in a business estate means there are always people coming and going. The office is a simple room where we handle our daily business and meet with folks who stop by. We have a couple of desks and some chairs that have seen better days. It is not a massive operation, just a steady one. Most of the time is spent writing out notes or talking on the mobile. The traffic on Solapur Road is quite loud, but the walls of the Kamdhenu Estate block out the worst of it. We have been at F 125 for a good while now, so we have a set way of doing things. The lighting is that standard office type, and we keep a small kettle for making coffee when we have a long afternoon. There isn't much on the walls except for a clock and some old calendars. We know the security guards at the gate and the other people working in the nearby units. The stairs up to our floor are a bit narrow, but you get used to them. Every morning starts with opening the shutters and checking what needs to be finished from the day before. It is just regular, honest work that keeps us coming back every day.
