You can find us at F 18 in the Mangalya Tenaments. We are located right near Ratnagar Society, just across from the Yash Complex on Gotri Road. It is a well-known part of Baroda, so most people do not have much trouble finding the place. We operate under the Ministry of Finance, dealing with the daily grind of income tax records and processing. The office isn't anything special to look at. Just a lot of desks, some old filing cabinets, and the sound of keyboards clicking all day. We have a small group of people working here. Everyone knows their job and we just get on with it. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that is the highlight of the afternoon. Gotri Road is always busy with traffic, so it is lively outside. We see a lot of people coming in with their tax forms and various queries. It is not always easy work, and sometimes the rules get complicated, but we try to keep things moving as best as we can. We do not have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It is a functional space for government work. Most of the people who visit us are local residents from this side of Baroda. We have been at this location for a while now. It feels like a settled part of the community. We just do our bit for the department and go home at the end of the shift.
