Our branch is at 38 B in Satyen Society, which is right behind the Utkarsh Petrol Pump on VIP Road. Karelibaug is a pretty active part of Vadodara. Having the petrol pump nearby means there's always the smell of fuel and the sound of cars nearby. It’s a convenient spot for people who are already out running errands. The building itself is quite simple. We have a small sign out front so people don’t miss us. Inside, it’s just the usual desks and computers. We try to keep the place cool because it gets really hot in this part of Gujarat. The floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is good because people track in a lot of dust from the road. Most of our work involves helping locals with their savings or getting their paperwork in order. It’s not a high-pressure environment, just steady. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. Sometimes the internet slows down and we have to wait a bit for things to load, which can be frustrating. We usually eat our lunch in the small back room. There is a nice vibe among the staff here. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local bank branch for the 390018 area. It's a practical place to work and it serves the neighborhood well enough for their daily needs. We close up on time most days and head out to avoid the worst of the VIP Road traffic.
