Our business is based right here in Vadodara. We don’t have a huge, fancy office block; we mostly operate out of a practical space where we can keep our equipment and handle the paperwork. Road construction is the kind of job where you spend more time outside on the dirt than you do sitting behind a desk. Most of our days are spent checking on sites or making sure the rollers and pavers are in good shape. It’s a tough business because the weather in Gujarat can really mess with your schedule. When it’s not too hot to pour asphalt, it’s raining so hard that you have to stop everything. We’ve been doing this for a while now, and we know most of the roads around this city pretty well. The team is made up of guys who don’t mind getting their boots dirty and working long hours under the sun. We don't really do much in the way of marketing or big advertisements. Most people hear about us from other folks in the industry. It’s just about getting the road paved and making sure it doesn’t crumble after the first rain. Sometimes the machinery acts up or a supplier is late with the gravel, and you just have to deal with it. It’s not a glamorous life, but there’s something good about seeing a finished road at the end of a long project. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the next job.
