Ibrahim B Shaikh works out of Fatepura Omkar Industrial Premises. It is one of those busy spots where there is always some noise coming from the neighboring units. The space isn't huge, but it fits what we need to get through the day. Usually, the morning starts with a quick tea before the real work begins. We have some old desks and a lot of papers piled up. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit if too many machines are running next door, but we just keep going. It’s a practical setup for the kind of stuff we do here. People often wander in looking for other businesses in the building because the signs aren't very clear. We just point them in the right direction and get back to our own tasks. The commute to Fatepura can be a bit of a headache during rush hour, so most of us try to get in early or stay a little later to avoid the worst of it. There is a small shop nearby that sells decent snacks when we forget to bring lunch. It’s not the most glamorous place to spend eight or nine hours a day, but it’s where everything happens for us. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. As long as the work is finished and the bills are paid, that is what matters at the end of the week. It's just a normal day-to-day operation in an industrial area.
