Hydro Chem (India)

Our office is at No. 303 in the Mangal Deep Complex. It’s a busy building in Sampatrao Colony, right on Productivity Road. If you know the area, you know how hard it can be to find a parking spot during the middle of the day. We’ve been in this complex for a while now. The office is usually full of files and old catalogs. We deal with water chemicals mostly, so there’s a lot of talking about parts per million and different filter types. It’s not very glamorous work. Most of the day is spent checking prices and calling up suppliers to see where our orders are. The hallway outside our door is always a bit dark, and the elevator makes a weird noise between the second and third floors, but it gets us there eventually. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we can get the work done. The Productivity Road traffic is pretty loud, so we keep the windows shut most of the time. There are a few other businesses on our floor, and we all know each other’s lunch schedules. It’s a simple setup. We handle the orders as they come in and try to stay ahead of the paperwork which always seems to pile up on Friday afternoons when we just want to go home. We usually keep a kettle going for tea.
