Down in Sara Nagar, right opposite the Sardar Patel area, you’ll find Heritage Hortitech Pvt Ltd. We’ve got our setup here in Vadodara where we deal with plants and technical stuff for gardens and farms. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. My boots are usually covered in some kind of dirt or mud by the time I head home for the evening. We aren't a big fancy company with a lobby or air conditioning in the back. It’s more of a functional space where we keep our equipment and supplies. The weather in Vadodara can get pretty rough on the plants, so we spend a lot of time making sure everything is looked after properly. Opposite Sardar Patel is a good landmark for people trying to find us. We get a lot of locals dropping by to ask about their own projects or what we have in stock. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped with all the catalogs and samples we have lying around. We try to stay organized, but when it’s planting season, everything happens at once and things get messy. It’s just the nature of the business we are in. We don’t use big words or try to act like we know everything. We just work with what we have and try to help out whoever comes through the door. It’s a simple life at Heritage Hortitech. We start when the sun comes up and usually finish late. There is always work to do here in Sara Nagar.
