Our branch is located in Nani Chipwad, which is part of the older side of Baroda in Gujarat. The streets around here are narrow and always full of life, which makes getting to work an adventure every morning. The office itself is at 390009 and it’s been here for quite some time. It’s a bit of an old-school atmosphere inside. We have the usual counters and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. Most of our customers are locals who have lived in the area for generations. They come in to check their balances, renew their fixed deposits, or just to ask a quick question about a letter they received. We don't go for anything fancy here. It’s just a plain, functional space where we handle the books. The afternoons can get pretty hot, so we rely on the old ceiling fans to keep the air moving. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at the keyboards. Sometimes we have to deal with long lines when it's pension day, but we try to keep things orderly. It’s a very grounded kind of work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We’re just here to do the banking and help the people of Nani Chipwad with their everyday money tasks. It’s a predictable but busy life.
