We’ve been here at Sukruti Nagar Soc in Diwalipura for a while now. The office is right on Old Padra Road, which stays busy most of the time. We handle the cable TV and internet connections for people around this part of Baroda. Usually, someone is at the desk if you need to pay a bill or ask why the wire is hanging low outside. It’s a plain office, nothing fancy to look at. We spend most of the day looking at screens or sending guys out to fix lines on poles. The heat in Gujarat gets tough in the summer, so the AC usually hums in the background while we work. People stop by to complain or just to get their setup working again. We try to keep the records straight. Sometimes the internet acts up because of the rain or some construction down the road, and that keeps us occupied. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know the local spots to grab a quick tea. There is always a lot of wire and equipment lying around in the back. It’s just how a cable office looks. We don't do much advertising; folks just find us when they need their TV fixed or a new connection in their home.
