Harishkumar K Parmar is the name on the door here at 234 1 in Dabhoi Devasandra. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't used to the area, but it’s where we’ve been for years. The space is part of a larger layout, and we occupy unit 234 1. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for what we need to do. I’ve lived around Devasandra for a long time, so I know most of the people on this block. The building is sturdy and does the job. Inside, it’s mostly just tools and work surfaces. I don't spend much money on decorations or fancy rugs. It’s a place for work, not for showing off. The light comes in through the side windows in the morning, which is nice. We have a small radio that plays the local stations while we go about our tasks. Most people who find us do so through word of mouth. We don't really advertise. If you need something, you just come to 234 1 and ask for me. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just sit outside and wait it out. It gives us a chance to talk to the neighbors. It’s a quiet life, mostly, and the business keeps us busy enough to stay out of trouble. We usually have a bit of dust on the floors, but that’s just how it goes here every day.
