Hanuman Overseas

Hanuman Overseas is based over in Kawant at the Belagodu Arcade. It’s right on VRN Lane, which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking closely for the sign. The lane itself is usually pretty crowded with people and scooters moving around throughout the day. We’ve been set up in the arcade for some time now. It’s a decent building, though it shows its age here and there. Most days start with opening up the shutters and getting the air moving. Being in Kawant, things can get pretty warm in the afternoons, so we just try to stay cool and get through the tasks at hand. There isn't much to say about the decor because we mostly focus on getting the work done rather than how the walls look. The Belagodu Arcade has a few other shops and offices, so there’s a bit of a community feel among the people working in the different units. You see the same faces at the tea stall nearby. Anyway, that’s where Hanuman Overseas is. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical space on VRN Lane where we spend our hours. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We just wait it out and then get back to what we were doing.
